Visiting the places of Medieval Tuscany is comfortable and fun with this Sightseeing Experience tour suitable for both Solo Travel and families. Depart from Florence for a journey through the natural beauties of Tuscany to discover walls, castles and Templar legends! With an equipped GT bus we will leave together for the vault of Monteriggioni, the small fortified village with walls dating back to 1200 AD which it will be possible to walk through for an unprecedented immersive experience. Monteriggioni has become famous worldwide for its presence in a well-known gaming title where the protagonist fought the infamous Templar knights, and a museum is dedicated to them included in the formula of this tour. Once free time is over, it will be time to leave for the Val d'Orcia, a Unesco heritage area characterized by expanses of emerald hills that turn into golden fields during the summer (you will certainly recognize a well-known scene from a famous film based on the life of a Gladiator of Imperial Rome which was in fact filmed on these hills along our route). In this beautiful area of Tuscany we will first visit Montalcino, a village extremely well known by true Tuscans for its wine, the best in all of Tuscany. In Montalcino, if included in the specific rate, it will be possible to have a tasting of local wines and products of the Tuscan medieval tradition. After a rewarding walk through the streets and typical shops we will leave for the last stop of our tour, Pienz; famous village known for its production of cheeses, we advise you to take advantage of the stop to include Pecorino di Pienza in your shopping. A fabulous view of the panorama of the Val d'Orcia will accompany our return to Florence scheduled for the end of the day.
