Day 2: New Delhi & Old Delhi Heritage

Day 4: Jaipur

  • Enjoy an elephant ride to ascend to the fort’s entrance, just like the Maharajas once did — a truly royal experience.
  • En route back to the city, photo stop at Jal Mahal (Water Palace) located in the middle of Man Sagar Lake
  • Lunch at a traditional Rajasthani local restaurant (optional, on direct payment basis).
  • Next, visit City Palace, an impressive museum displaying royal costumes, historical weapons, miniature paintings, and fine Rajasthani handicrafts. It still serves as the residence of the royal family of Jaipur.
  • Then short walk from the City Palace to Jantar Mantar, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Day 5: Jaipur – Fatehpur Sikri – Agra

  • Begin your drive to Agra — the city of the Taj Mahal.
  • En route, you’ll stop to explore the historic ghost city of Fatehpur Sikri, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, Once the proud capital of the Mughal Empire, was built by Emperor Akbar in the late 16th century. This magnificent red sandstone city was mysteriously abandoned after just 14 years due to water scarcity.
  • Inside Sikri you will see the Buland Darwaza – The "Gate of Magnificence," one of the largest gateways in the world, Jama Masjid, Tomb of Salim Chishti – A sacred white marble shrine with intricate lattice work and Panch Mahal, Diwan-i-Khas, and Diwan-i-Aam –
  • Stunning Mughal architectural elements.
  • On reaching Agra, check in to your hotel and relax after the journey

Day 6: Agra Sightseeing Itinerary & Agra – Delhi

  • Breakfast at Hotel
  • Morning visit Taj Mahal – Symbol of Eternal Love; one of the Seven Wonders of the World and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Built by Emperor Shah Jahan in memory of his beloved wife Mumtaz Mahal, this white marble mausoleum is a masterpiece of Mughal architecture (The Taj Mahal is closed on Fridays)
  • Then visit Agra Fort – A UNESCO World Heritage Site and a massive red sandstone fortress that served as the main residence of the Mughal emperors. Inside fort you visit Diwan-i-Am, Diwan-i-Khas, Jahangir Mahal, Musamman Burj (where Shah Jahan was imprisoned), and Sheesh Mahal.
  • Late afternoon begins your journey back to Delhi by road
  • Upon reaching Delhi: Check-in at hotel, and If you have time and energy, you may explore some nearby sights or local markets like Dilli Haat, Ambiance Mall, or Khan Market.
